We're on the hunt for an energetic Junior Product Developer to join our Product Team at Understatement HQ in Stockholm.
What You'll Do
As Junior Product Developer, you'll play a key role in bringing exciting, high-quality collections to life. You'll collaborate closely with design and operations to ensure a seamless development and production process, from sourcing and supplier management, to sample reviews and stock planning.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting product development – assisting the Product Developer & Buyer in creating high-quality products for our customers.
- Managing tech packs – maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) and size specifications.
- Sample reviews & feedback – ensuring product quality, fit, and consistency.
- Supplier communication – managing follow-up on sample development, quality, and deadlines.
-Analyze sales and follow up on sales performance, take action, and work with purchasing to optimize the assortment.
- Production & planning – overseeing deliveries and supplier timelines to ensure smooth execution.
- Product data management – maintaining PLM (Resourced) and ensuring alignment across Shopify, Madden, and Fortnox.
- Supporting purchasing & stock planning – assisting in creating Purchase Orders (POs), coordinating with suppliers, and keeping production timelines up to date.
- Supporting the team in driving our sustainability agenda, including the implementation and continuous improvement of sustainable materials, processes, and production methods.
- Continuous improvement – proactively working on product quality, fit, sustainability, innovation, and premiumization.
Who You Are
- 1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in lingerie/underwear.
- Degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business or Product Development.
- Passionate about sustainability and eager to help improve materials, processes, and supply chain transparency.
- Structured and detail-oriented – able to prioritize tasks, take initiative, and work independently.
- Analytical & tech-savvy – comfortable working with data and digital tools, adapting quickly to new systems & processes.
- PLM experience (Resourced) is a plus!
- A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and enjoys juggling multiple projects.
- Bonus if you have education or experience within sustainability.
